Would you like to help improve alcohol and substance use services for younger Native people?

Doya Natsu is partnering with Washington State University (WSU) in a research study to find out what supports recovery among younger Natives adults. We would love to hear from the Wind River community about how to adapt an alcohol treatment called contingency management (CM) to meet the needs of young adults in your community. CM is a way to encourage and maintain a change in behavior. In this treatment, we will be encouraging young adults to stop misusing alcohol.

Would you like to help our understanding of the negative consequences of alcohol and substance use?

Doya Natsu is partnering with Washington State University (WSU) in a research study to adapt a questionnaire to better understand the negative consequences of alcohol use for Native people. We would like to hear voices from the community on personal and community strengths, family connection, social support and other factors that help people lead healthy lives.

If you are a Native adult (18+) and living in the Wind River Area, you may be able to participate in the study. If you participate in this research study, you will be compensated for your time.
